500.000 trees planted
Launched at the end of 2017 by the Galp Foundation in partnership with ANEFA - National Association of Forest, Agricultural and Environmental Companies - and Galp, the Terra de Esperança Movement had the mission to help reforest the burnt areas and promote the preservation of the Portuguese forest, in partnership with municipalities and the community. With the aim of planting 500,000 trees, it mobilized more than 6,500 volunteers, 4,500 children and 30 municipalities from north to south of the country.
