About the Galp Foundation

Much more than energy. We support the sustainable, fair, and inclusive transformation of the communities where Galp is present.

Who we are

Created in 2009, the Galp Foundation is a private, non-profit organisation. It has public utility status since 2013, renewed by the Portuguese State in 2019 and 2024, for a period of ten years.

The following companies were at the origin of the Galp Foundation:

Galp Foundation's mission is to implement the social impact strategy in the communities where Galp group companies are present, with work underway, namely, in the following geographies: Portugal, Spain, Eswatini, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and São Tomé and Príncipe.
